National Acupuncture Detoxification Association’s (NADA) Legacy: 
The Alchemy of Social Consciousness, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine – 
A Prescription for Whole-Person Health and Wellness for all Communities

This education session, led by Dr. Khensu and the NADA executive committee, explores the journey
of NADA through periods of organizational challenges, highlighting its evolution and the importance of
legacy-based leadership in balancing social consciousness with the practice of holistic medicine.
It aims to delve into NADA's historical roots and philosophies, providing insights for educators and
practitioners on integrating these principles into contemporary whole-person health and wellness care,
reinforcing the commitment to be a transformative force in healthcare.

Learning Objectives - Participants will be able to: 
-Learn about the historical development of NADA, understanding how its approach to acupuncture and herbal medicine has been shaped by social consciousness and organizational dynamics.
-Understand NADA’s holistic health principles and apply them in diverse community settings.
-Examine the role of social, cultural, and ethical considerations in shaping patient care and community health initiatives within the framework of NADA's philosophy.
-Learn to develop strategies for interdisciplinary collaboration that integrates the principles of NADA with other healthcare disciplines.
