The Council of Colleges of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (CCAHM) has launched a new public webpage dedicated to federal legislative advocacy and higher education policy updates impacting Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine education.

This new page centralizes information on current federal policy developments, including student aid and affordability, negotiated rulemaking, regulatory accountability frameworks, and coalition engagement. The page reflects CCAHM’s 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, including Priority 4: Expand Legislative Advocacy and Regulatory Engagement.

Recent federal actions, including provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and related Department of Education rulemaking, have significant implications for graduate and professional programs, including those leading to licensure in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. The new page provides context, updates, and information about how CCAHM is engaging on behalf of accredited institutions.

Members will continue to receive notifications, updates, events, detailed analysis and action steps through CCAHM Connect, the member collaboration portal.
